I am very curious about this ring. As a Paladin, I was led to believe that I needed to get as much VIT+ gear as I could, where any two VIT points would equal 1 extra DEF. This ring already has a bunch of DEF (+20 VIT?), so wouldn't it make sense to just use this ring and get gear to help with STR and Damage over Time? --Austineze 03:14, 27 April 2008 (UTC)

Vit also lowers critical hit damage and rate, I've seen PLDs get hit for 20-50 and get crit'd for 60. --Tellah of Carbuncle 03:59, 27 April 2008 (UTC)

VIT will give you extra defense, but defense does not give you VIT. I recommend taking a look at Paladin: Guide by Willriker#Important Stats and Paladin: Guide by Willriker#The Damage Curve for how VIT and Defense work. --◄Chrisjander► t/ c 18:38, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
