Talk:Poison (Status Effect)

From FFXIclopedia, the free Final Fantasy XI encyclopedia

The different HP/tic rates should be listed here, and if it varies for a TP move in the same monster family, it should list a range from the weakest poison in that family to the strongest poison in that family). --zoogelio-forgot-his-password 23:16, 21 July 2006 (EDT)- I'll expand on my old comments- the HP/tic rates should be added next to each TP move's name (unless each TP move's HP/tic rate varies depending on the level of the monster?) to illustrate the fact that there are many different concentrations of poison in FFXI. --zoogelio-forgot-his-password 23:55, 15 October 2006 (EDT)

They should add that it can be self-induced with a poison potion.

Poison Range

I've seen a range of poison effects from normal mobs to be -12/click, from Shen -20/click

Treasure Chests

Treasure Chest mobs in Pso'Xja have a move called Death Trap it poisons you for 10hp/tick and lasts a very long time. Not sure if all mimic type have this move.

Posoin status vs sleep effects?
