Talk:Poison II

What is the dot on Poison II?

I'm pretty sure the damage is not fixed like the article says; Everyone I've ever talked to says the DoT is based on your enfeeble skill. Tahngarthor 17:36, 30 March 2007 (EDT)

I've postulated that it's based on a comparison of caster vs target INT, with a min and max based on caster INT. I've noticed that some mobs cast Poison (just level 1), and it deals 2hp/tick, and Poison II can vary as well I believe. Probably the best way to test would be to test out beastmen BLM of the same level. They have a tendency to cast Poison II, and usually orcs have terrible INT, so theirs should be lower DoT. --Chrisjander 17:44, 30 March 2007 (EDT)

Chrisjander is correct, it is INT based and not skill based, much like the Elemental Debuffs. --Charitwo 17:47, 30 March 2007 (EDT)

the DoT caps at 10 hp/tic --rOg \ TaLk 21:51, 8 March 2008 (UTC)

How much INT is needed to hit that cap? --Toksyuryel 12:09, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
