Just won this from the Monster Races added in the June 2008 updates, from the fifth new official race. Opponents include a white Rarab, Tiger, Coeurl, Cactuar, and several other Chocobos. Like the previous races, there's a limit to how many you can do in a day (but you can re-run in the same day if you lose). In Race #5, there's a cactuar in this one that's pretty tough -- near the end he spams his speed-up move repeatedly. Hitting him with a speed-down attack is probably the best way to win, my chocobo only beat it after landing a Pepper Biscuit. --FFXI-Guppy 17:28, 21 June 2008 (UTC)

I managed to beat him on the first try using a Speed Apple. My chocobo's stats are First Class STR, Outstanding END, Average DIS, and A bit deficient REC, with Gallop and Canter. I was afraid I might lose when he was spamming Mad Dash, but I still won by a decent enough margin. --Kyrie 04:34, 26 July 2008 (UTC)

Where do you sign up for these races? They are not flag on my normal racing NPC.

LeonCloud, I moved your post up from the "Requested Move" section, also, don't forget to sign your posts. The Pashhow Swamptrot races are hosted by a set of NPCs added in the June 2008 update. Move/Merge The item is listed as Pullus Torque in your inventory, and that page was already made but the quality of the information on this page seems better, I think this page should be renamed Pullus Torque or be merged with the current Pullus Torque page and this page changed to a disambig page linking to Pullus Torque. --Tweeky 19:34, 21 June 2008 (UTC)
