Lumping

Is it really necessary (or even logical) to change "Max HP Boost" and "Max MP Boost" to "Automaton: Max HP Boost" and "Automaton: Max MP Boost" respectively, just so that one can make a wiki page for the two latter versions that describes the % of bonus that the item gives? The first format was much more efficient, and to display the %, it would be better to just put it in the notes of the Puppetry Tobe's page. - Hiachi 11:26, 6 April 2007 (EDT)

EDIT: Also the Automaton: Max HP Boost and Automaton: Max MP Boost pages that were made only say "Increases the maximum HP on automatons" and "Increases the maximum MP on automatons" instead of an actual amount or percentage, which is so redundant that its almost like a joke that this person chose to make that page and change the armor's page to link to it. - Hiachi 11:26, 6 April 2007 (EDT)

Did my own testing.

Because I was upgrading this into the +1, I did my own testing so I could see if there's a difference between the bonuses between the NQ and HQ. Here are the NQ results as a copy and paste from notepad. These are the raw numbers without any other gear equipped such as Gem Sainti, Animator +1 Auto-Repair Kits, or Mana Tanks. The only difference in the examples below for a level 75 PUP was the NQ Puppetry Tobe.

HP 861 -> 877 +16 MP 886 -> 910 +24 Mage Frame

HP 1663 -> 1687 +24 Valoredge

HP 1030 -> 1048 +18 Sharpshot

HP 1311 -> 1331 +20 MP 246 -> 266 +20 Harlequin

It seems to function like the Animator +1 where it gives specific bonuses depending on the frame. I'll know if the HQ has different bonuses on Sunday. --Ami 05:20, 10 January 2009 (UTC)
