I think the weapon skill levels may be wrong here. I just switched over to my level 1 ranger. All skills were capped already and Axe was at 6, not 5. I corrected it here, but I suspect Ranger have slightly better than a B- Axe skill and their cap at 37 and 75 should be checked and corrected. Ganiman


I'd also like to add; in the Infomation section, role in party, Ranger is most frequently the puller also.

as far as Lv.75 cap, Axe skill cap is correct. and it's B- according to many sources

A list of "sweet spots" in terms of Distance for different ranged weapons would be very useful to have.

Did you have WAR subbed at the time? At level 1, since both the main and sub jobs are the same level, it's actually possible for the sub-job skill limits to be higher than the main job skill limits. Since WAR has a skill limit of 6 with Axe at level 1, that might explain the seeming discrepancy you found. --Althorn 18:06, 3 October 2006 (EDT)

sweet spot
