ninja kyahan kiting

just did this as nin, at night. i just trained the entire zone, and was pretty easy. rarely got hit with ninja kyahan, altho if i ran around the edges of a room, sometimes they'd drop down, and come up on the otherside, and would get a few that'd hit me.

i recasted utsu every so often, when i was far enough away (used compass to judge that - waited till no red dots on compass, tho that was more then neccessary). used earth staff, jelly ring, and the rest was eva gear. also used war shinobi gi(regen), and muscle belt (regen with <=50% hp). ended up with about 500 hp left, taking maybe 800 dmg total. --rOg \ TaLk 20:08, 9 October 2007 (UTC)

Stun

We just tried to use Stun to prevent the Sagelord from getting away, but it didn't work at all. The NM would just run away after recovering from Stun. Don't base your strategy on this... Soily 21:56, 6 November 2007 (UTC)

Killing Trainers

Kill all 6 trainers in the big room where sagelord is located first. You should have about 20 min left to go after sagelord. It is critical to bring reraise items for this mission, and some hi-pots. Take him out with 6 peeps. trainees don't repop. Ayrlie 03:03, 12 February 2008 (UTC)

Puppetmaster

We did this with a puppetmaster in our group. The five non-puppetmasters just ran around killing random mamool while the PUP solo'd the Sagelord. The Sagelord never 'Fleed' because the PUP would deaggro with deactivate. Once the PUP got the Sagelord's HP down past his fleeing stages, we all came back and plowed him.

The PUP had no problems at all soloing this. Confirmed the strategy suggested. With 3 PUPs it would have only been easier. --MinakoOfGaruda 00:36, 24 March 2009 (UTC)
