Move Request

English punctuation rules aside, it should just be "Single Hook Fishing Rod" without the hyphen. --Lunarcurtain 01:34, 2 March 2007 (EST)

Is that how it appears in one's inventory list? --Chrisjander 02:43, 2 March 2007 (EST)

Yes and no. If you just see it in the inventory list, it's something like "S.H. Fishing Rod". If you select it so you can see the details for it, the spelled-out name is "Single Hook Fishing Rod". I only noticed this because I was making a page revamp for Babubu--fishing guild merchant--and saw that "Single Hook Fishing Rod" made a broken link, even though I scribed down the name as I saw it ingame. --Lunarcurtain 05:03, 2 March 2007 (EST)

Resolution - Move: Then you have adequately answered my question. We expand abbreviations when naming pages, and as we can see from the actual description, the expanded abbrv does not have a hyphen. --Chrisjander 22:41, 2 March 2007 (EST)

Just a note: [[Broken Single-Hook Rod]] needs to be moved as well, for the same reason. ~ Karuberu 23:37, 3 March 2007 (EST)
Done. --Chrisjander 00:01, 4 March 2007 (EST)
Actually, ironically, the broken rod says "Broken single-hook fishing rod" in the AH. Oh well. --Lunarcurtain 04:08, 4 March 2007 (EST)
Well, since SE couldn't decide which punctuation to use between the description and the list name, we might as well do away with a superfluous punctuation mark. --Chrisjander 11:37, 4 March 2007 (EST)
