Talk:Skulker's Cape

How exactly does this enhance the effect of Invisible and Sneak? I've had them wear the moment Ive casted them >.> —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Juilan (talkcontribs).

Ok so I tested this for a while today, 12 tests wearing it and 12 without, 75 RDM/WHM, on fireday leading into earthday, wore no other equipment. The average duration I came up with were: 1 minute 45 seconds without the cape, 3 minutes 6 seconds with the cape, an increase of 76%. My highest duration without it was 3 minutes 45 seconds, and the highest with it was 5 minutes 30 seconds, an increase of 50%. I haven't seen sneak last longer than that in either case, so I would estimate the duration increase at an average of +50%. --Jerm 15:57, 20 July 2007 (CDT)

"does not increase accuracy"???

What does this mean? How can the spells effected not be 100% accurate? You can only cast them on party members and last I checked party members don't resist friendly buffs--NoOneLeftTalk 18:56, 9 September 2007 (CDT)

Here's the real question, do you have to wear it just for casting or do you need to keep it on for it to continue the effect?

  • As far as I know, the only items which really require you to keep them on are enchanted items, of which even those there are exceptions. So I'd have to say no, you don't have to keep it on for the enhancement to take effect. Angeluzun 06:06, 23 December 2008 (UTC)

Here is another question, does it enhance the buff sneak/invisible or does it enhance the spell, for example Will it work when you use pots/oils or ninja magic. --Sean Night 21:55, 30 October 2008 (UTC)

  • What you can "the buff" SE calls "effect." As all 3 modes of Sneak (Status Effect) you mentioned state: "/em gains the effect of Sneak." at its commencement and also state: "/em's Sneak effect wears off." at its conclusion, I'd have to assume that the Cape works for all the aforementioned methods. Not to mention the fact that regardless of how you apply the buffs, the icon is still the same, therefore the effect is still the same. Angeluzun 06:06, 23 December 2008 (UTC)

Based upon my experience and that of my Son, we believe the Skulker's Cape and Dream Boots +1 stack for Sneak. --IBHalliwell 07:27, 28 December 2008 (UTC)
