Only Friar's Lanterns that expand during battle seem to drop the Smoky Flask. Unfortunately there is no name difference between them and the ones that stay normal-sized. I have only found four of them, the two on the bridge at F-7 that were the original placeholders, and two more past the bridge downstairs where Mythril Mouth Monamaq pops. --Astrael 16:31, 13 July 2007 (CDT)
In the .DAT there are 5 Friar's Lanterns just before Big Bomb, I'm guessing that those 5 are the ones that drop. Discussion on BG mentions 1 in MMM's room and 2 in I-9. --Valyana 17:57, 27 July 2007 (CDT)
I looked through that thread; it looks like it was never confirmed for them that the ones in the Mythril Mouth Monamaq room actually drops. I've for sure got a drop from all 4 of the bombs I've named (2 on the bridge, and the 2 in the room with Monamaq). I don't know where that 5th bomb in the .DAT file could be, but I can keep an eye out.--Astrael 09:46, 6 August 2007 (CDT)
