Talk:Sprinter's Shoes

From FFXIclopedia, the free Final Fantasy XI encyclopedia

Sometimes while using the Sprinter Shoes i do get 12% movement speed but someone else using them at the same time moves faster than i do and vice versa, maybe these shoes do have a base of 12% but can increase even further? Just curious if anyone else has witnessed this too. (Angelena 02:42, 10 December 2007 (UTC))

Can these be recharged? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Yours (talkcontribs).

Sorry, nope. Gotta redo the quest to get a new pair. --CharitwoTalk 03:06, 31 January 2008 (UTC)
Unfortunately, you can only do the quests once; After completing them (and thus, becoming part of one of the factions), you have to purchase new pairs from the Sigil/item exchange NPCs. ~ Karuberu 22:16, 31 January 2008 (UTC)

Can somebody confirm the duration of these shoes? Mine just lasted 90 minutes according to StatusTimer. WyldFyre 10:13, 25 November 2008 (UTC)

Bug or Feature?

Before the updates for May 15 becomes available, I was noticing today that if I /heal (rest) with these shoes on, I'll not only gain the Quickening effect, but will not use up a charge as well.

Can anyone confirm this as a bug? Or is it a new feature of the shoes? --Calderon0311 07:07, 14 May 2009 (UTC)

This is perfectly normal. You are gaining Quickening due to Swift Shoes, and not due to your Sprinter's Shoes. --Taeria Saethori 07:12, 14 May 2009 (UTC)
That's just Swift Shoes kicking in. --Lordshadow 07:33, 14 May 2009 (UTC)
