Talk:Strength
From FFXIclopedia, the free Final Fantasy XI encyclopedia
- Anyone know what happened to the page about, going over 85-90% +str was useless? at one point apparently it was proven and there was a page tied to here about it. Just curious, because it was here for a longtime, no mention of it being true or not, and everyone thinks im screwed up for thinkin such a thing other day i asked in ls about it.
August 2007 Update
I edited the article to state the that the effect of STR on ATT when a two-handed weapon is equipped only applies to STR from equipment, and that it affects -STR in the same way it affects +STR. Source ⇨ ∆ιτнεηа 00:59, 30 August 2007 (CDT)
4:3 vs. 10:7.5
Isn't 4:3 the same as 10:7.5? 4/3 and 10/7.5 both equal 1.333~. So why adopt the version with the decimal? --Ivrai 20:57, 20 November 2007 (UTC)
- Nevermind. Disregard this. It was changed to 4:3 while I was typing this. ._. --Ivrai 20:58, 20 November 2007 (UTC)
Before it was misrepresented as 3 str = 4 attack, when it would be the other way around, 4 str = 3 attack. I changed it back to get rid of the decimal (and to put it in real numbers). --◄Chrisjander► t/ c 21:47, 20 November 2007 (UTC)
I'm not sure the strength ranking is accurate. As a 75SAM/WAR Elvaan with no merits I have a 75 Strength. Why then is sam rated in the second set where drk is in the first, if 75DRK/WAR has a lower str score? Just wondering. --User:Ravenfnord
Is it really necessary to show lvl 75 str with (War/Drk) next to them only below to say "Subjobs are not factored in"? seems kinda redundant and pointless to me Sanjuro asura 21:40, 13 January 2009 (UTC)
I believe the "WAR/DRK" is not referring to "Warrior subbing Dark Knight", it's referring to "Warrior or Dark Knight" since both have the same STR rating. A bit confusing. --KodoReturns 14:50, 18 January 2009 (UTC)
