Talk:Tarutaru: Guide to Job Selection

From FFXIclopedia, the free Final Fantasy XI encyclopedia

After butting heads with the administrator a few times, the guide is up. However, I'm not a Tarutaru player, so anyone who has experience in that role can fill out the fields as they see fit. Expect an update for the Aht Urghan job classes soon.

So after a long absence of willing editors, I've decided to go back and begin updating a few job descriptions to the best of my ability based on extensive experience of having allies and party members of those combinations.

Feel free to overwrite what I put in.

Just keep your personal opinions out of it, as it outlines in the guidelines for editing. --Chrisjander 15:37, 10 November 2006 (EST)

Yeah, I haven't updated these in a while (until today). I think Galka was completely bare before I got to it. I spent like a week's worth of spares just writing everything in to the best of my knowledge. I don't think I came across any problems with Galka, but on other "Guides to Job Selection", I've had people change the stuff I wrote down that made no sense at all. The first one that comes to mind was when someone deleted my whole Elvaan Black Mage section and wrote down stuff like "Even though Elvaan has the highest INT in the game..." I don't mind it when people update it with cool, useful information (especially in PUP, the job I don't know much about), but please just keep it factually correct. Thanks a bunch!

As a Tarutaru who has leveled PUP and DNC, I thought that both areas could use a bit of editing. When you are a Puppetmaster in parties, once you're get high enough it's mostly what you've put on your automaton that makes you a good PUP or not, not your racial stats.
