Just me and my NPC fighting Shades. I'm 0 /110, no joke. Been here for a damn month. I've found no evidence on the net that shades actually drop this. Yeah I've never heard of it dropping from Shades, only Dark Stalkers. Gonna put a verification tag on that. --Kyrie 00:04, 16 August 2008 (UTC)

Okay, So I killed 116 Shades by myself, no drop. My 75 thf friend helped me with his TH, we killed 5 DarkStalkers and it dropped. Mutha.....

with all the kills of shades and none dropping, unless someone has had them drop for them, maybe it should be deleted from their possible drops and from this quest. i also just went about 0/>100 then killed about 25 dark stalkers and got the bell--Overblaze 19:34, 11 November 2008 (UTC)

I have reason to suspect that this doesn't drop unless the quest is activated. I killed dozes of dark stalkers without a single drop while I was requesting my AF. Once I realized that I didn't have the quest activated, I activated it, came back, and got the drop after 5 kills. This could just be bad luck, but there are other items that have a similar requirement to drop, right?

I got the drop as WHM50 doing G1 last year, assisted by a DRK70. Neither of us were anywhere near having the quest active; it is not a prerequisite. --Gojiras 08:38, 20 January 2009 (UTC)

Went 1/14 with no TH. This is a pain in the ass to do solo not because of the difficulty of the mobs, but the fact that you are stuck camping in one room or the other waiting on 16 minute repops on only two Dark Stalkers. Bring a friend to stand at the lever and open doors for you so you can alternate between the N room and the W room of the second map, and kill all four spawns. --Gallick 12:50, 27 January 2009 (UTC)
