Zinc Ore Purchase Price

  • With a relatively new character, not completing any quests in Bastok or related areas as far as I know, Zinc ore can be purchased for 620 gil.Wriko 04:56, 1 November 2008 (UTC)
  • If you're trying to get Utsusemi: Ichi by purchasing Zinc ore here, it's going to cost you APPROXIMATELY 620 gil x 105 Ores = 65100 gil at MINIMUM! (Keep in mind you get 350 gil for completing the quest, which, for the 26 turn-in example I'm using, equates 9100 gil.) 105 ores allowing you to flag Utsusemi is not guaranteed. I'd go a bit over if you want to be safe, or if getting to Norg is difficult for you. Read around on forums or this site in order to see what worked for other players.Wriko 04:56, 1 November 2008 (UTC)
  • I haven't tried to buy out the stock of Zinc ore yet. If someone has an idea how many ores can be bought per game week, please add this info.Wriko 05:10, 1 November 2008 (UTC)
  • Since Zinc Ore is not restocked on a game-daily basis (meaning a player must sell some of this item to the guild for it to be stocked in the first place), the amount that can be purchased at any given time is limited to none at all, and solely dependent on other players. --Downyhunter 18:48, 2 November 2008 (UTC)
