It is currently unknown if this quest can be completed incorrectly by choosing the wrong side of the tree and what the consequences are. If anyone can personally verify, please update this article.--Poof 22:46, 1 August 2007 (CDT)

• Verified it myself. You get a message if you pick the wrong root that a vine has already been severed. When you select the collect root, it gives you the option to cut off some wood.--Poof 22:57, 1 August 2007 (CDT)

It seems to me that this quest can't be completed without the use of at least one ice cluster to get past the flames at H-7, unless you happen to get very lucky and arrive right after someone else has used one. Am I wrong? If not, the walkthrough should definitely include this.--Kensington 15:19, 19 January 2008 (EST)

• The flame spouts go down if you wait long enough for them. It takes a while, but it does happen. Ice clusters just make it easier to get through.--Dracoth 23:57, 17 July 2008 (MST)
