Talk:Thunder Elemental

Killed two Thunder Elementals in Vunkerl Inlet this evening, neither of which dropped any Lightening Cluster's whatsoever. 100% drop rate is incorrect, adjusted accordingly.Tah 07:15, 30 April 2008 (UTC)Tah
Did you have Allied Tags on? If so, you cannot get any drops whatsoever from any monster. I don't think they would change the 100% drop pattern for just one zone. Ahkvan 20:13, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
No elemental has 100% drop rate. They just have 3 Clusters with a high chance for each to drop. Therefore it is possible to get no drops. This is why I'd like to show multiple clusters in the drops, but not doable since it would confuse too many people on how to edit rates. --Laconic 16:21, 18 October 2008 (UTC)
Luck?
Hi, I just killed my 3rd in Konschtat Highlands.. Ever single one that ive killed there has always dropped me 2 clusters... is this definate or is it just luck? --Taruzard 02:24, 3 December 2008 (UTC)
I just killed an elemental in Vunkerl Inlet ... I received 3 clusters plus a crystal, oddly enough --Nuriko-chan 20:36, 10 May 2009 (UTC)
You had good luck. Sometimes, they only drop 1 cluster. LDf5% 12:37, 14 June 2009 (UTC)
The Sanctuary of Zi'Tah
A Thunder Elemental Spawns at the bottom right corner of H-9 on the map, east of the outpost. A 64THF/32BLM successfully solo'd it with Dancing Edge; I almost died. No 2 hour was available for me; I did not cast any BLM spells. Wiki says there are only 4 spawn points, so I found one. LDf5% 12:44, 14 June 2009 (UTC)
