They should have added the ability to use this like a Hatchet 1/1 with a long cooldown so if you ran across a Tree while farming you could get a quick log. Nuala Phoenix 00:20, 9 December 2008 (UTC)

Is there any proof regarding the inability to skill up with this g.axe as posted on the item page? I have the Trainee Hammer and have successfully used it for club skill ups.--The Sanders 00:17, October 29, 2009 (UTC)

Latent activation
