I think the ~ means it adds HP and MP as you level up, but how much HP/MP and after how many levels, I'm not sure. Can anyone sepcify? I think it would be a good note to add to the item. Firewall 01:32, 12 September 2006 (EDT)

IIRC SMNs got a stronger boost out of this crown, but that could have just been silly misinformation. Anyone dare confirm the results on a SMN? Or how about the more obscure rumor of improving TH on mage jobs? (lol)--Bsphil 01:16, 6 August 2007 (CDT)

Level 74 Mithra Summoner/Whitemage.

No gear equipped, level 8 MP merits: Base MP = 887, Base HP = 883

Trump Crown equipped: MP = 913, HP = 909

MP Boost +26, HP Boost +26.

I would say it was just misinformation.

Opinions don't belong on main article

This is a great little piece of gear. Low level gear that adds to Magic is hard to find, but one that adds +10 Defense AND Magic, well, you just can't beat it. I have used this for low leveling of PLD, BLU, SMN, RDM, WHM, etc.
