Talk:Warrior: What To Do in Skillup Parties

From FFXIclopedia, the free Final Fantasy XI encyclopedia

Warrior cannot equip Tropical Punches.

ah, thanks.... I haven;t actually looked at what WAR can wear because I avoid it as a D skill.... ill cut it out

If you ever want to do Salvage I'd suggest skilling H2H. --Pazdarcy 00:25, 8 May 2008 (UTC)

nice job

Good job on the skill up guide. I hope people read it before I see them skilling up for hours with little to no results. Not sure how other servers are but on Ramuh people think Robber Crabs extend from 130-200 and Steelshells 200+. Then they don't take into concideration that each job has a different weapon skill rating for each weapon. 2 people with 200 sword skill, one has A+ the other D, they should not be skilling up sword on the same thing. If people just thought about it a little (or read your guide) they would not spend even half as much time skilling up. Yes crabs take a beating and there are lots of them but would you rather spend hours getting little to no skill ups (yes I've seen people complain many times they get nothing) or clean up 20-30 weapon skill levels in an hour or so? Your choice!

My personal opinion also (not sure if it effects it or not), is take off all your +ACC gear until you can get the mob to con NOT low evasion and NOT high evasion. Right in the middle. DO NOT USE SUSHI for skill up. Even if this means you are skilling near naked, I have notice too much +acc slows down skill ups. If you can't hit the mob, you need to go lower.

Nice job on the guide, again --Bekisa 06:42, 18 April 2007 (EDT)

What about using /DRG for the +Haste%? --Ctownwoody 18:07, 20 September 2007 (UTC)

- No mention of defender? Defender can be helpful when you get in a situation where you want to kill slower, such as competition for mobs. --Pazdarcy 00:24, 8 May 2008 (UTC)
