I'm almost certain "Double Weakness" doesn't exist. We had a death -> raise -> death -> raise situation in a party I was in the other night, and both times, the person raised to identical stats.

-- Double Weakness applies mainly to ranged and magic attacks. The effect of these during this period of weakness are severely reduced. STR/VIT and other stats are not affected by double weakness. Zhais 00:52, 17 August 2007 (CDT)

An image floating on a Japanese wiki site has an image of a BLM using Tornado on a Huge Hornet (Lv -1) in South Gustaberg for 0 points of damage. I'm not sure if it's real or not, but if that's the case, that means that Double Weakness sets Magical Attack value to 0. Sofrid 23:43, 13 September 2007 (CDT)

Haste?

"in fact, Haste has no effect on weapon delay and spell recasts during the duration of Weakness). However, Haste from equipment does still take effect during Weakness" With weakness the recast on Mage's Ballad was 47 seconds. A WHM cast haste on me and then changed the recast to 43 seconds. Doesn't this disprove this statement?

• This is wrong. I am a WHM. No gear or spell form of haste can alter my recasts while weakened. The only thing able to bypass this huge penalty is to use the Celerity Stratagem which would take the recast back to it's original time. Grm88 12:42, 5 August 2008 (UTC)

Ninja'ed?

I know in the past, magical haste did not affect weakened people. However, something has changed recently. I'm not sure when, but just today I tested it again after hearing from another WHM that it changed. In an attempt to prove him wrong, I actually discovered he was right.
