Drop List Change

Since the base weapons can drop from any NM in the Nyzul Assault, which would be better to change the drop list to "Dropped from any NM in Nyzul Isle Investigation" or list every NM that can occur in that assault. Also, should the NM's page be updated with a Mythic Weapon tag, or every weapon it can possibly drop? --Turdsman 17:10, 10 September 2008 (UTC)Turdsman

I was under the impression that they made it drop from any of the *bosses*, not any NM in the Assault. As in, on Floor 20, 40, 60, 80, and 100. If anyone has evidence to the contrary though, please by all means post it. --Kyrie 19:14, 10 September 2008 (UTC)

I did Nyzul today and the weapons dropped indeed from the NMs. Was a high drop rate too or we were lucky, got BLU, BLM, WHM and DRK weapons on 3 runs. Farmboy 20:59, 10 September 2008 (UTC)

I can confirm that yes, this can drop from any NM in Nyzul Isle, but it has to be one of the NM's found other places in Vana'diel. (The regular mobs that /check as Impossible to Gauge cannot drop weapons.) I did a run with 6 people from floors 1-6, and from 2 of the NM's we got drops, the Elder staff (SCH) and the Wightslayer (BLU). The Wightslayer dropped from the NM "Hellion" on floor 4. Unfortunately, somehow even though I was the only person interested in the Wightslayer, there was some kind of malfunction and the weapon was lost. >< I double checked inventory before lotting, and had 65/70 slots at the time, and obviously I don't have the weapon already, or I wouldn't be making this post. When the sword went to drop into my inventory, it said, "You could not obtain the Wightslayer, either because your inventory is full, or you can only possess one item of that kind." Needless to say I was pretty bummed... I checked inventory immediately, and yes, still 65/70 slots. As soon as the Nyzul run was over, I made a GM call. After much questioning and 'gathering data' the GM said they would make a Special Report to the Development Team, but it wasn't 100% that I would have the sword returned.
