modified the structure to use templates
There is an issue where some pages are getting too long, and were giving a warning about size over 32kb not editable by all people, so I designed a couple templates to make the coding the same, but a bit shorter to accomodate everyone that wants to help edit. the templates are TableMobHeader, TableMobLine, TableMobFooter.
Arrapago Reef was over 32kb, so I changed that one over completely, and I used Buburimu Peninsula as a staging point, so it's partially converted.
Basically to use these templates you enter the header, then a line for each mob, then the footer, and it will build the table. Kotiriti of Garuda 07:18, 22 August 2006 (EDT)
Hallihallo
How can i edit subcategorys if this template is used? Like here at "Mobs found here": Castle Zvahl Keep --Nomido 13:32, 30 September 2006 (EDT)
Region Name or Region Category???
I think it would be helpful to have the region identified somewhere on every area's page. Would that maybe be done best as a category?
For example: Category:Areas|Valdeaunia or Category:Areas|Valdeaunia Region would show as the category footer for say Castle Zvahl Keep. This would help to make lesser known zones easier for newer people to the game to find. Mcdermr
I feel that this would be helpful as well, so that you can look up zones by their region. Possibly as subcategories of the areas category.Kotiriti of Garuda 07:56, 23 August 2006 (EDT)
This seems fine but I request 2 things. (1) Someone take this on as a project and complete it start to finish; and (2) incorporate the existing region articles {i.e. Kolshushu) and redirect them to the new category. --Gahoo 09:08, 23 August 2006 (EDT)
Ok. I'll take this on as a project and I'll address Gahoo's requests. --Mcdermr 10:27, 22 August 2006 (CST)
Done! Let me know if I missed anything. I don't know and couldn't find the outpost and its location for Tavnazian Archipelago so that info is question marks at the moment. I didn't do the cities (Bastok, Jeuno, San 'd Oria, and Windurst) as they are self-explainatory as to which region they are in. Also the Halls of Transferences, according to the Talk:Hall of Transference, Dem they are not part of the Emptiness/Promyvion "region". Mcdermr 22:21, 29 August 2006 (EDT)
Template spacing on small monitors/browsers
With the new custom Wikia skin (and even the old Monobook skin) if you size the width of your browser too small, the template for zones starts to mess up, instead of having the information on the left and the maps on the right, you get a single column of maps, then scroll down for the information. For most areas this is fine, but when you go to Sea Serpent Grotto or any place with a lot of maps, you get large expanses of white space. I don't know a solution, but perhaps some discussion can lead to one --Dekarguy 14:55, 8 December 2007 (UTC)
