Historical Background

Thrym was King of the Jotuns (frost giants) who ruled over the realm of Jotunheim in Norse mythology. He stole Mjollnir (Thor's Hammer) once. He was killed by Thor.

One of the moons of Saturn is named Thrymr, a variant spelling of Thrym. Thrymr was discovered on September 23rd, 2000. It is 5.6km in diameter
