Working Job Combinations

This section is not meant to discourage people from trying different combinations, but to illustrate combinations that have been tried and tested. Please feel free to try this BCNM with any combination you think might work, and above all, have fun!

Red Mage x3 and Damage Dealers x3

Strategy:

• A White Mage Support Job is highly recommended to cure status effects.
• Echo Drops are highly recommended.
• The Red Mages will use Bind and Gravity to kite three of the Funguar.
• Then the Damage Dealers attack the left over Funguar.
• Once that Funguar is dead, they move on to the next.
• Continue to kite and kill the Funguar one at a time until they are all dead.
• It is recommended that Toadbolster be saved for last. His Silence gas can cause large damage.

Strategy Pros:

• Keeping the extra Funguars kited is a safer way to kill all four of them.

Strategy Cons:

• Funguars are more resistant to Bind than Gravity. If resists occur, it could be dangerous for the Red Mage who is kiting.
• If a Damage Dealer dies early, the fight will be very hard.

Making this Strategy Better:

• Items such as Antidotes and Remedies may be helpful if MP is an issue.

Other Strategies

• One or two Red Mages may be replaced with Beastmasters.
• One Damage Dealer may be replaced by a tank type class.
