Walkthrough
- You must zone to get cutscene
- Watch the cutscene for an explanation of the ruins.
What you will need:
- 1 Imperial Silver Piece
- 3 Imperial Mythril Piece
- A Chocobo (Available in Al Zahbi at G-9), or the use of Sneak & Invisible
Where to go:
- Travel to (F-6) in "Bhaflau Thickets-Map 1" and speak to NPC Kamih Mapokhalam.
- If you used the Chocobo you will have entered Wajaom Woodlands first, so head North to Bhaflau Thickets.
- She tells you that in order to enter the Alzadaal Undersea Ruins zone you must trade her an Imperial Silver Piece, and says that if you trade her three Imperial Mythril Pieces, she will give you a map of the Alzadaal Undersea Ruins. It is recommended that you trade her these first for the map, however if you fail to do so you may exit and come up behind her to trade them without need for another entry fee of the one silver piece.
- The Alzadaal Undersea Ruins are very confusing, and even if you dont get maps, it is strongly recommended you get the map, so that you can mark points on the map.
- You will now enter Alzadaal Undersea Ruins at Map 7.
- Approach the Gilded Doors (H-8). Mission 10: "Astral Waves" is started as soon as the cutscene begins.
- There are no monsters that aggro in this section of Alzadaal Undersea Ruins.
- While you are now in Alzadaal Undersea Ruins you should also get the Nyzul Isle Staging Point. This Staging Point is crucially important for access almost anywhere in the Near East. It's also the quickest way back to Whitegate, even if your home point is not set there (and it's free!)
How to get there:
- Passing through the "Gilded Doors" on the map you are currently at which gave you the cut-scene and mission, take the Teleport-Pad which is on the North-side of the room.
- You will then be placed into a new room, where you can take the Teleport-Pad which is on the West-side of the room.
- You will now be dropped onto the main Alzadaal Undersea Ruins-Map 8, and you should be pointed south after you zone. Walk South and follow the path around as it goes East.
- Continue straight East, you will enter a room with a Teleport-Pad, pass by it as you continue walking East.
- You will pass through a hallway, and then enter another room with a Teleport-Pad, which again you can ignore and continue East.
- The path will then turn South, and there will be a set of doors you will open. Pass through the doors, and turn East once again through the room.
- You will now go through a hallway, and enter another room, which you will pass East through.
- The path will then turn North, and you will reach the Staging Point zone doors. Enter them, and when you are zoned into the Staging Point look to the East, and you will see the Runic Portal. Enter to unseal the Nyzul Isle Staging Point for future use by you.
If you already have Nyzul Staging point:
- Warp to the Nyzul Isle Staging Point, then head south. Turn north at (H-9) and take the first teleporter towards Bhaflau Remnants (porter A).
- Take the teleporter on the east (porter F). After porting to the next room, the cutscene will begin.
