Notes
- Forced Spawn by trading a Clustered Tar to the ??? in the back of the cave at (J-9).
- The entrance to the cave is located at the southeast corner of (I-9).
- The ??? respawns 15 minutes after the Unstable Cluster is defeated.
- It should be noted that when camping this NM, it is not necessary to have pop item ready. Members can save their gil by killing the Nitro Clusters around the pop area.
- Has a natural Blaze Spikes effect.
- Attacks multiple times each round - the number of attacks are equal to the amount of bombs remaining in the Cluster.
- Susceptible to Slow, but resistant to Paralyze and Blind.
- Very difficult to sleep without Elemental Seal.
- Builds resistance to sleep heavily over time, becomes near impossible to sleep after 3-4 times.
- Susceptible to Stun, but somewhat resistant to the stun effect of Head Butt and that of Weapon Skills.
- Can be defeated by a specialized group of 6 characters capped at level 50 (a Paladin tank, melee with Ninja subjobs, and a form of Stun), or a group of well-equipped Summoners using Carbuncle and meds (see testimonials). It is still hard and more than 6 members is recommended for those inexperienced.
- Uses normal Cluster special attacks.
- Refueling can be dispelled.
- Starts using Self-Destruct below 60% health. Some form of Stun is recommended to prevent this. Self-Destruct Damage easily 600-1200 with Barfire.
- Uses Circle of Flames, which can be absorbed by a variable number of shadows.
- Seems to use Formation Attack and Sling Bomb quite a bit which does a decent amount of damage.
- Soboro Sukehiro drop rate may possibly be increased by number of bombs left at end of fight.
