I started playing FFXI in July 2006 after a real life friend (a Taru named Radd) and his real life girlfriend (an Elvaan named Amavelle) convinced me to start playing. I started the game off very slow, meeting new people and making new friends. Even as a Rank 2 noob, I tried my best to play jobs properly in the Doonz.

     I have been in a few small/minor social linkshells that no one probably remembers now. I was recently in my first endgame linkshell (November 2007 - January 2008) called Seekers of Secrets / Dark Bahamut(SoS). SoS was a newbie endgame LS that I used to get my feet wet. However, they only participated in Sky and were extremely poorly managed (especially timewise while camping Sky items). I left the shell on my own accord after constant disagreements with a jackass player / leader (I will not give him the service of mentioning his name on a public space) who was just terrible at the game, as a leader, and as a person. If you want more specifics about the situation, feel free to talk to me in game about it (I have screenshots of a few convos with him to illustrate his doucheness).

     As a FFXI player, I take my performance on any job or task quite seriously. I strive to be one of the the best players on the server. I won't play a job unless I know I have the ability to excel. My bread and butter is my MNK and I'm currently leveling BRD (among some other solo'ing jobs). I have a lot of things I need to accomplish for my MNK before it is anywhere near where I want it.

     I am currently in search for a great endgame linkshell to join. I was working on completing the CoP storyline but I have had two statics in the last 2 months dissolve with little or no progression. I have also been (or am about to be) working on leveling DNC to 37, RNG to 75, DRK to 37, and screwing around solo/party on DRG and BLU. Unfortunately, I have stopped meriting for a while to focus on BRD and still have a considerable amount of meriting to do.

      On a personal note, I am a 23 year old grad student. I got a full ride for my MBA and I'm in my third (of four) quarters. I will graduate in Summer 2007 and have an MBA to go with my other two business degrees in Management and Human Resource Management.
