Greetings. I am Xauna of the Lakshmi server. As of recently, I have advanced to Red Mage level 75, and since obtained a few merits to my name. I feel the need to contribute to the FFXI community a bit more, so here I am... I've already made a few small contributions that I hope have assisted others in some way.

As any number of you surely know, feel free to leave me a message in my talk page. I cannot guarantee a fast reply, but I will return the message as soon as I notice it is there, assuming of course an answer is required.

I suppose that is all there is to say... If there is anything you feel I should add to my main page here, I guess my talk page can double as a suggestion box, or if you are one of my cohorts on the Lakshmi server who thinks I should have something-or-other on here, add it yourself. (I'll take revenge on you later if I didn't want it up.)

My current projects:

-Red Mage guides

--Backline guide, discussing how to gear for various situations, hopefully discussing various playstyles and macros.

--Frontline guide; frontline RDMs are horribly overlooked and often even shunned, and lack of guides on the subject seem to lead to many red mages waving a sword around with little knowledge on what to do. As frontline is something of my specialty, I aim to have a guide or two discussing the various ways to gear, how to use a sword or dagger, and how to properly utilize support jobs.

--Fulfillment guide; While the Red Mage forum at alla covers most of what I want to bring here, I feel a new guide is in order that lays out how a Red Mage can feel fulfilled, given it's small and repetitive role in party play these days, as well as a compilation of solo play strategies from all playstyles(enough to make it more than a rewrite of the 'kiting' pages). How soon I complete these comes down to how soon I can guarentee they don't already exist in the form of very comprehensive guides.

As a whole, upon completion(or at least put together to be mostly complete), any and all guides by me will fall here. I will not place any in the Red Mage job page, but rather just a suggestion in the talk page. Importance of guides I leave to the community to decide. If the community thinks there's still room for improvement though, I'll just open up suggestions until each respective guide is perfect.

I hope I can bring some more help to the FFXI community by being here. I thank all of you for any understanding and support; after all, I still feel fairly new here. -Xauna
