Key item formatting
I assume these redirect deletions and subsequent modifications are part of an ongoing effort to conform ffxiclopedia page titles to in-game descriptions. It would be strange if [[Coruscant Rosary]] were changed to Coruscant rosary, but Silver bell did not become [[Silver bell]], wouldn't it? So, below are other pages in Category:Permanent Key Items that could use adjustment at some point in the future. You may already possess this information, but I felt posting here was more efficient than putting up dozens of Smove request banners.
Items I have with capitalization schemes than on ffxiclopedia: [[Astral compass]], [[Black matinee necklace]], [[Boarding permit]], [[Bush chocograph]], [[Chocobo license]], [[Coastal chocograph]], [[Crimson orb]], [[Delkfutt key]], [[Desert chocograph]], [[Dkhaaya's research journal]], [[Dune chocograph]], [[Fake moustache]], [[Jungle chocograph]], [[Prairie chocograph]], [[Pure white feather]], [[Silver bell]], [[Squire certificate]], [[Tattered Maze Monger pouch]], [[Yagudo torch]] Items I do not have but suspect as being different based on images: [[Blue bracelet]], [[Captain Wildcat badge]], [[Cast metal plate]], [[Cerulean crystal]], [[Daze-breaker charm]], [[Dynamis - Buburimu sliver]], [[Dynamis - Qufim sliver]], [[Dynamis - Tavnazia sliver]], [[Dynamis - Valkurm sliver]], [[Green bracelet]], [[Jar of reversion dust]],[[Limit breaker]], [[Moongate pass]], [[Paintbrush of souls]], [[Portal charm]], [[Prismatic fragment]], [[Pso'Xja pass]], [[Reliquiarium key]], [[Rhinostery certificate]], [[Runic disc]], [[Runic key]], [[Sliced pole]], [[Starway Stairway bauble]], [[Tonberry key]], [[Vial of shrouded sand]]

- Please leave projects to those in charge of them, we are slowly changing key items (as there are a LOT of them), so its not going to be finished in one day. For example Silver bell has not been changed because one of our admins or patrollers have not gotten to it yet, we will get them all. There is no need to leave me giant messages every time I edit your checklist. --CharitwoTalk 16:23, 24 May 2009 (UTC)
- I'm not usurping anyone's project, and it makes no difference to me if you want to do the changes one at a time, all at once or never at all. My only concern is that the checklist stays usable, and because you're taking care of that, I have no complaints. I was just helping consolidate information in the event it is needed. Apologies it turned out "giant". --Kreutz 00:41, 25 May 2009 (UTC)
- All links are changed when a page is moved, including the ones on the template, you can help out by editing and if somebody missed something, just correct it yourself, it's that easy! There is no need to contact me unless there is a problem with your editing experience or if you have a question about how something works here. Thanks. --CharitwoTalk 00:45, 25 May 2009 (UTC)
Play Online Community Sites
- Hi Charitwo, as you have noticed SE restarted the Commiunity Sites Page. FFXIclopdia is one of the Premium Sites. Is it possibible to apply with the German wiki there as well? I don't really know who is resposible for that and who is allowed to decide on that. I hope you can help me. --ShaariTalk 11:57, 28 May 2009 (UTC)
Vandalism
Such a noob I couldn't see how to PM an admin but anyway!
User Jake007 has been vandalising pages. I found this on Summoner page then looked at who had edited and checked their previous edits all the ones by them I could find were vandalism--Vartak 18:30, 9 June 2009 (UTC)
- Taken care of. Thanks for letting me know! :) --CharitwoTalk 18:48, 9 June 2009 (UTC)
editing other people's monaco-sidebar pages
Why did you remove a chunk from my modified sidebar? While I understand that some of the things I didn't have access to, that fact is rather irrelevant to if they are on my sidebar or not, as being able to click a link doesn't automatically give me permissions I don't otherwise have - in fact, I tested the links after you removed them and they all returned permissions errors. So... what was the reasoning behind removing them? I'm curious. --Volkai 02:40, 29 June 2009 (UTC)
- Because you don't need Links on there that you don't have access to. And I have every right to remove them. I don't know why you're arguing this. --CharitwoTalk 02:43, 29 June 2009 (UTC)
- A question is not an argument, please do not misinterpret my intentions. Also, I never said you don't have the right to remove them. --Volkai 02:48, 29 June 2009 (UTC)
Policy templates
Not sure how else to go about it. You'll have to forgive me, as I haven't spent much time toggling with some of the features on FFWikia. When I go to FFXIclopedia Policies and try to access one of the items in the Policy Templates section, there's an attention notice on the top of the page, saying I've either violated something, or I've "been observed doing inappropriate actions".
(IE- example of one in Quizzes section
Attention:
This notice has been placed on your talk page because you have been observed creating irrelevant or offensive quizzes on the wiki. Users who continue this behavior after being warned will be banned depending on the content of said quiz.)
As far as I'm, aware of, I've only made a minor change to an NM (Wyvernpoacher Drachlox under testimonials), and at least 1 other page that I recall, as well as attempted to try the Never Ending Quiz. I am unsure if it's a glitch. I am also unsure if this could be due to someone trying either having an issue with me or if I've done something I haven't been aware of. Can something be done?
(PS- I'm sorry if this has seemed a bit long winded, as I'm unsure how else to go about it.)
- Eikoc
- You probably just looked at the templates we use to place those notices on other people's talk pages, you didn't actually get notified. --CharitwoTalk 00:01, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
Talk:Sniper's Ring
Sorry about that I was going to move it. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Wikedjuggalo (talk • contribs).
- Move it where? It's someone else's comment, it doesn't go anywhere. --CharitwoTalk 02:15, 10 July 2009 (UTC)
Redirecting ToAU Missions 8/9 Plot Details
I noticed you moved the Mission 8/A Mercenary Life Plot Details over to the Mission 9/Undersea Scouting page, some time back (April 11?); that, however, isn't accurate.
The Plot Details in question in fact make up the storyline cutscene for A Mercenary Life -- the completion of which ends the mission and flags the next, Undersea Scouting. The Undersea Scouting mission itself doesn't actually have a cutscene -- it only leads to the Mission 10/Astral Waves cutscene upon mission completion.
For the sake of accuracy and making the matter clearer/less confusing for other users on Missions 8-9, I moved the plot details back to ToAU 8/A Mercenary Life.

Killed Judaine NM D:
Lol you killed mah page!
Oh well, it has nothing to do with monsters or items :)
lol, but it was nice while it lasted.
- Those kinds of pages do not belong in the main namespace, if you want to do something like that, put it on your userpage and make sure it doesn't have any categories. --CharitwoTalk 11:33, 20 July 2009 (UTC)
Ninja Yonin
As you may or may not be aware, there seems to be heated debate on SE's course of action involving 100% ninja tool expertise w/ the aformentioned ability in use. Many ppl have become fearful (probly in regard to the account banning associated w/ grass farming (gardening)) and are jumping to conclusions that use of this JA constitutes that 1. the JA is not working as initial proposed by SE and 2. that use of it subjectively assumes the user to be in violation of Policies against the exploitation of glitches and game mechanics. We (The community) have not yet heard a formal policy declaration to either of these effects from SE and it is under my understanding of this wiki and its policy that editing pages as such is in violation of our policies, and thereby constitutes as page vandalism. Additionally I'd like to state one emergency maintenance has already transpired After instituting this new JA, as such i think we could conclude that the ability is working properly. Proto-Ultima
The Proto-Ultima page is protected so I can't make the changes myself, but Proto-Ultima's page states theat Armor Buster only goes off under 25%, and that's incorrect; it can be used starting at 40%. It also says Citadel Buster is used starting at 25% and that is also wrong; Citadel Buster starts at 20%. Thank You. --Greenie 03:20, September 22, 2009 (UTC)
- I've unprotected the page. --CharitwoTalk 21:46, September 22, 2009 (UTC)
NPCs
Hi! I need the NPC list but... it has desappeared! Before - 3435 articles / Now - 75 articles. Why? What happened? (Sorry, I'm Spanish, I know that my English is bad) Lolifer 03:17, September 24, 2009 (UTC)
- Hi, this has been "fixed", it may take up to a day for the list to fully populate due to the bad template change that was made. --CharitwoTalk 03:28, September 24, 2009 (UTC)
Wiki Userpage
I didn't know where else to put this...
I noticed it after I got home from work, the usual; get up, check watched Wiki pages for updates, check my wiki pages for abnormal changes, think about editing my "Wiki Userpage" and not do so (cause being pushed on time), go to work, come home... and gone. Look in my edit log and it says nothing about it being deleted/changed or anything. The page is just gone. What's left is the default starter 'info' page, and I can't seem to go back in the history to fix what happened cause they all show the exact same default setting page has it is now.
Didn't have a backup saved- is there anyway I can get it back and/or know what happened? If it can't be retrieved, I can put up a new one by what all I do remember on it, but would still like to know has to what happened. --TabbythaKat 03:36, September 26, 2009 (UTC)
- All fixed. You're userpage and all your subpages are at the UserWiki now. --CharitwoTalk 03:53, September 26, 2009 (UTC)
