Notes:
- Respawns at E-5 approximately every 21-24 hours. There are two ways to get to the location - one is the exit from Beaucedine Glacier. The other is by talking to the Lycopodium (NPC), and trading a flower to the glowing spot on the ground in the present. This is a much faster way to access this secluded area, and can be a lot more convenient.
- When at half life, five copies of the Sobbing Sapling spawn, even if defeated by spike damage. Once the Weeping Willow is defeated, Lumber Jack spawns.
- If a Sobbing Sapling loses hate, it will wander back to the relative spawn area and despawn shortly thereafter. Do note, however, that they will link with Lumber Jack.
Historical Background
The Weeping Willow (Salix x sepulcralis ‘Chrysocoma’) is a hybrid cultivar of the White Willow (Salix alba), a tree native to Europe and the Peking Willow (Salix babylonica), a tree native to China, which is widely planted as an ornamental tree. They are known for their long, drooping branches, giving the tree an overall form of having a mop of hair (they have long, narrow leaves). The Weeping Willow, like its parental species, is a fast-growing but short-lived tree.
